Kent Interclub Multi Launch Competition 29 Sept

Recommended Posts

Nick Jackson

You are invited to Kent Interclub Glider 1 Multilaunch competition to be held 29 September2019 at the Blacketts Farm SADMAC club field, CD on the day Derek Price.  This is an open competition and non-Kent Interclub club members are very welcome (entry fee £5). 'Glider 1' because this replaces the comp originally scheduled 7 April which had to be cancelled because of bad weather.

Please notify me via email (whitstable.nick@outlook.com) or PM on this forum no later than 6pm Friday 29 Sept with model class, and frequency if not 2.4 (Glider, Electric, Open, 100" etc) so a matrix can be set up.

The rules are a variant of BARCS Multilaunch.  Electric launch gliders must be fitted with an AMRT (height limiter) which cuts the motor at 30 secs and records the launch height. Electric launch max height remains at 175m and there is a penalty of 3 pts per metre for Electric launches exceeding it. (Most pilots will want to set AMRTs to cut a little below 175m. It is fine instead to use F5J firmware and cut the motor manually.)

We want to have a full day's flying so please check in 09:30 latest and be ready for Pilots Briefing at 09:45 with the competition starting at 10:00 sharp.

A minimum of 4 rounds and a maximum of 6 rounds will be flown

Scores will count for the BARCS Multilaunch league.

Fliers as of 21 Sept (there will be more to come):
Keith Benton
Mike Connell
Alan Harris
Greg Hayfield
Mike Hodgkiss
Nick Jackson
Terry Letchford
Brian Martin
Pete Mitchell
John Moyler
Ian Nicholls
John Postle
Eddy Small
