Rotmilan paint colour code

Recommended Posts

I’ve been refurbishing a Rotmilan, which has the classic Rotmilan  checkerboard colour scheme in red and white. The red I have identified as Traffic Red (RAL 3020). Anyone any idea what white RTG use?

By the looks of the website all the colour codes are there. White being 'CG610'

Hope this is of use.

Yes. I forgot to mention that the website is singularly unhelpful. I emailed RTG to ask what coding system CG610 indicated, and got no reply!

There's a company in Swindon called Holman Specialist Paints who can make up paint for you.

If you take part of the glider in - I took in one half of the tailplane - they will scan it and sell you a perfect colour match in either the paint of your choice or a rattle can.

I've done exactly that for my Predator and the result was perfect. When you call, confirm with them how long they will take (a couple of hours usually) to avoid making two trips.

Hope you haven't stripped my MKS gears yet! Good luck

Thanks, that’s very useful. Gear stripping day is planned for tomorrow, with a healthy westerly onto the Mickey’s!

It's probably a car company colour

Looks like a Volvo code from Google.
