There are 7 from GBR flying at Lost Hills in an FAI event. Ken Faux and Alan Jack are still in F1C fly-off and will go for 10 minutes at sunrise on Sunday. The picture below shows Ken launching his flapper on a test flight.

Here's a table of the GBR representatives at all the World and European Senior Outdoor Free-Flight Championships of the 'Modern Era' - 1951-2015. Records the data in one place and brings back memories. Let me know if you spot any errors. GBR at Champs 51-15.pdf

Hello folks! What's a Free Flight Board doing on the BARCS Forum? Well, Austin has allowed us some space because the FlyQuiet Forum is to close and we had a board over there. Thanks to BARCS and Austin for the help. I have been a BARCS member since the early eighties - I flew a Centiphase to Silver standard (B certificate) back then and even placed third in the Crawley open one time. I think I might have beaten Chris Foss himself (also ex-free flight) that day. Graham James remembers me at the Hanworth club, chucking my Centiphase in an early Hand-Launch comp - I think I won. The Wet and Dry abrasive paper grips are still on the fuselage Graham! We now fly together again at TVSF. Long time.... However Free Flight was my main interest for 40 years until I got the DLG bug. Now I'm 65 and on the BARCS committee, BARCS/BMFA F3K rep, F3K team manager (2011-2015) and a regular F3K contest "also-ran". My FF class was F1A which I flew to International level for 30 plus years, including winning "the big one". If there are Free Flight questions/topics, post them here and there will be comments/answers.....
