There are 7 from GBR flying at Lost Hills in an FAI event. Ken Faux and Alan Jack are still in F1C fly-off and will go for 10 minutes at sunrise on Sunday. The picture below shows Ken launching his flapper on a test flight.

I recently purchased a FrSky RX4R reciever, could not get it to bind to my Taranis. I hope my findings may help others who have the same problem. The RX4R was EU LBT firmware, so as my Taranis was NON UK OpenTX. I was not too surprised. Re-flashed my Taranis to EU LBT, expecting that to solve the problem, but no, would still not bind. After much searching online, I found that it was the XLT module that needed flashing , not the transmitter. Flashed the internal XLT module to EU LBT and it now binds. Following some experimentation I find that I could use NON EU OpenTX provided the Internal module was EU LBT. The problem is that I have some old TX's that cannot be flashed to EU LBT, I would have to flash any new TX's to non EU firmware, what a pain. If you have old TX's that can be flashed, that is the way to got. The alternative (which is what I am doing) is to add an external FrSky external module using EU lbt, with NON EU firmware on the internal module. Hopefully I will then be able to use any vintage of FRSky TX. ---- HOPEFULLY
