Now that winter testing is fully underway, I can see the benefit of a telemetry receiver in gauging practice launch heights. I recall at last April's try it day at Buckminster that someone was using a Lemon telemetry receiver. I assume it was a Lemon LM0051. Question is will it work safely on a single Lipo? 3.7v-4.02v. Literature for an LM0051 suggests not - 4.5v min. I currently use a Lemon RX6 which runs fine for over an hour on a 1s lipo.
Hello, Could anyone out there offer a spot of advice on 2.4GHz aerial installation please? I'm fitting out my shiny Erwin XL Medium with a Jeti 8ch RX. TX is Jeti DC-16. The front of the fuselage is glass, while the rest is mostly carbon. Does my aerial installation, inside the fuselage look sensible? When the model is flying away from me, will the carbon at the rear of the fuselage block the signal? Obviously I will do some range testing before committing to the sky, but I was wondering if others might share their tips on this - who thinks that 2.4 wires should always exit the fus when there's carbon about? Should one of my aerials be aligned with the 'z' direction? etc etc I'd clearly rather not be drilling holes in the lovely molding, if it is not necessary. thanks, Ribs
