Turn on your Tx and plug it in to your PC before starting CRRCSim - Taranis says use as HID (Human Interface Device)

Click CRRCSim icon - CRRCSim starts and you crash!

Press the Esc key on your keyboard - top left usually - the menu bar appears
Click Options then Control
Click Input Method
Click black triangle by Input Method and choose Joystick - for Taranis FrSky Taranis should appear. Click OK

Still in Input Method click Configure then click Calibrate - follow instructions (move sticks about, click Next, centre sticks, click Finish)
Now 'assign outputs' to the right sticks - move a stick see which slider moves, use up/down triangles ot choose number that relates to surface movement.

Do that for all surfaces - Aileron, Elevator and Rudder at least.
When finished click OK (There are mixers for those able to set them up, I've never tried.)
Click Options - Locations - for slope soaring and F3F choose Cape Cod (model based?), I don't know if one is better than the other, someone might comment? I've loaded other locations, that'll be in another tutorial.

Click Options - Wind, Thermals - click Load Preset and choose your weather.

For F3F game - click Game on menu, click F3F, put a tick in 'Enable F3F mode',
tick 'show bases plane', tick start of left if you want.
(Sounds in English is another tutorial)
Click OK

Have your Tx in your hot little hand and press 'r' on the keyboard to relaunch - and away you go!

When you close CRRCSim click Yes to save the configuration, perhaps do it now so you don't forget after an exciting fly so your settings are saved for the next time you start the sim.
