Robbe amplitude motor mount

Hi, after cooking my new axi motor on maiden flight I've brought a new hacker b50 competition, I'm going to prop it for 2k Watts on 4s, I've had to trim the firewall quite a bit to make it fit, so now I'm a bit concerned it may not be strong enough, I've looked for a cnc firewall to fit with 25mm mount holes with no joy, hyperflite don't have anything, would adding a couple of layers of fibreglass of 1mm be upto the job, any input would be welcome

Thanks for the reply, unfortunately none of these have the right hole spacing

I don't know what the existing firewall is so can't comment on if adding 1mm of fibreglass would work. However I have attached a photo of a 3mm glass/epoxy board mount in one of my older models that was good for 4kw. That may help you decide what is adequate.

Thanks, that's helpful, I'm going to prop it for about 2k, so I think beefing up what's in place should be fine
