Thanks Pete

I have been looking at the weather for this Sunday, it looks dry but with a Southerly wind.

ESSA hills and WhiteSheet are not good for that direction, so lets hope it changes.

If any one out there can think or know of a good South facing slope in the area that we can use please get in touch.

You could use the Trundle at Goodwood.  Just checking if its available on Sunday.  Do you know what numbers you are expecting?

HI Eamon

Thanks for the that, but Buster is ok to fly but not really any use for F3F shame.

As to the Cliffs Matt, sorry not possible. Just to much public stuff and fare to good for us.

In my opinion it a bit early to be making weather assumptions just yet.

Whitesheet is flyable with Sotherly winds in the far right corner of the main SW bowl... Not ideal but flyable, any hint of East and it's a Nono

Tone-the-glider

Well  I shall be doing a bit of sports flying on the SW bowl  at Butser tomorrow. (Rain permitting)

Had a few F3F comps there in the past with no problem.

So come and have a practice.

Regards...TR

Right Gentlemen, I hope that you all had a good Christmas and New Year and are looking forward to getting out on the slopes.

To that end you may want to enter the Southern F3F Winter League round 3 on Sunday 10 January (venue to be announced)

If possible, please pre-enter at  http://www.eastsussexsa.co.uk/winter_league (You may just enter on the day)
