Many thanks to everyone, the conditions were extremely tough and it was a really challenging competition. Very well done to Carlos Dos Santos for an amazing performance, very solid scoring throughout the day! And thanks MikeF for travelling up to bring the equipment and help with timing. Congrats to Carlos on an excellent performance and first contest victory. Paul Gleeson Posted September 12, 2019 Share Posted September 12, 2019 Basically. Each task has a target number of seconds to fly. The top pilot in each group of pilots gets 1000 points all the other pilots’ score is a portion of 1000 based on the their number of seconds flown. In same tasks more than 1 pilot can get 1000 points if they score the maximum number of seconds in that round. If you have say 15 pilots in 3 groups, each group of pilots has a winner getting 1000 points for the task in that round. So at least 3 pilots get 1000. Conditions can change significantly, so it would be unfair to compare pilots from different groups in one round task. Paul Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
