Hi All, I am a regular flyer at Burton Dassett (SW N-NE) and Edge Hill (NW). Are there any slopes in my vicinity (+/- 30 miles) which would cover easterly winds (SE & E) that anyone knows ? Regards, Mike

Ivinghoe has a SE slope, but it is about 50 miles away. I haven't flown the SE though, so I can't comment if it is any good.Might be closer to you depending on where you live.

Also early on a sat/sun am the traffic is a doddle up the m6. I've done Mynd in 1hr. I have the asw 20 to maiden so let's look for a nice westerly and take a trip. Jim.

Mike it really depends on where you live relative to Burton Dassett. If you are north or near coventry it isn't that far to the long mynd as Jim says.  Otherwise you might want to look elsewhere.  It looks like the end of the South Easters is on the way though.
